Therapy for high-functioning women who are exhausted by the gap between how capable they appear and how depleted they actually feel.

welcome,

I’m Andrea, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist + the founder of Tulipa Therapy.

I created Tulipa Therapy because I believe therapy should be more than a place to talk about what’s wrong. It should be a place where you can finally stop holding everything together, understand what’s really going on beneath the surface, and begin creating a life that feels more like your own.

I work with high-achieving women who are used to being capable, responsible, and the ones everyone else can count on, but who may be feeling anxious, burned out, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply tired of trying so hard.

At Tulipa, we believe you don’t have to wait until you’re falling apart to ask for support. Therapy can help you feel less overwhelmed, more confident in yourself, and more connected to what you actually want. We combine evidence-based tools with mindfulness, self-compassion, and somatic work in a way that’s built around you, your story, your patterns, and what actually needs to shift. The goal isn’t just to cope better. It’s to actually feel different.

I’m no stranger to life’s ups and downs. My own journey has been full of challenges and growth, and through that process, I’ve learned firsthand what can make a real difference when it comes to finding your way back to yourself. There’s so much more to my story, but for now, know this: whatever brought you here, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

And as Tulipa grows, my goal is to create a practice where women can find thoughtful, compassionate therapists who understand that looking like you have it all together doesn’t mean you have to carry everything on your own.

You’re allowed to want more than just getting through the day.

Considering therapy can be a daunting step and I’m proud of you for just even being here.

We all experience emotional and relational distress at some point in our lives and it can be a reminder that you are part of a collective journey, as this is a shared and common human experience. Too often these struggles are faced in isolation, but you don't have to carry this weight alone. We’re here for you. We collaborate with our clients, providing unwavering support during challenging times and assisting them in achieving the transformative change they desire.

Therapy is a pathway, one that may span a lifetime for some, while for others, it's an invaluable resource during a period of transition. We believe everyone deserves the support they need to reclaim their life. We welcome individuals from all cultural and religious backgrounds and proudly affirm and support the LGBTQIA+ community. Your identity and experiences matter.

We take the time to learn more about you, your values, your experiences, and your aspirations. Whether you envision therapy as a brief yet impactful intervention or a more extended exploration, we are here to walk alongside you, fostering a supportive space where positive change can unfold.

Let’s connect

A woman with long, dark, wavy hair, smiling, sitting in a cream-colored woven chair, resting her chin on her right hand, in front of a light-colored wall.

We’ll have a 15-minute phone call to talk about your needs and what you’re looking for in therapy. This is a chance to ask any questions you have and we can determine if working together could be a good fit.

Invest in yourself

If we are a good fit and you feel ready to get started, we’ll schedule your first session. This session is focused on getting to know each other and we’ll explore where you are currently, what your goals are for yourself, and where you would like to be in the future.
